The shift:
A Journey of Creativity, Connection & Growth

As a child, I was often described as the Duracell bunny, a whirlwind of energy and enthusiasm. When asked to describe myself, I struggled to settle on just one aspect because I am multifaceted and have a passion for countless things. I always felt like I didn't quite fit in. It was a struggle to understand why I was different and how I could change that. Little did I know that being the "odd one out" held a special power. It allowed me to think differently, see the world from unique perspectives, and tap into my innate creativity and innovation.

Creativity is my lifeblood, and I made it my profession. After completing my studies, I delved into the world as a graphic designer and pursued photography on the side, capturing the essence of weddings and portraits. However… my path has been a winding one, marked by moments of creativity, moments of feeling lost, and a desire to make meaningful connections. It was during this exploration that I recognized the pitfalls of the culture of busyness and the mistaken belief that being active equates to being productive. After years of creating under pressure, facing deadlines, and struggling with financial instability eventually extinguished my passion. I reached a point where I couldn't bear the sight of a camera or computer screen. My creative energy was drained.

This turning point led me to seek new passions, unexplored territories in my professional life. I sought to trade the frenzy of constant activity for intentional, thoughtful work, understanding that true productivity lies in quality rather than quantity. I discovered that I craved a deeper social connection in my previous roles, a desire to bridge the gap between creativity and empowering others. Three years ago, I took a leap of faith and enrolled in orthopedagogy, unsure of what lay ahead but willing to embrace the unknown. This decision proved to be transformative, fueling my fascination with others and igniting my personal growth journey. I delved into intense self-reflection, and the rewards were immeasurable, shaping me into the person I am today.

Now, as a recent graduate, I have come to realize that by prioritizing self-care and nurturing my own passions, I can authentically contribute to the lives of others. I aim to combine my rediscovered creativity with my passion for connection, intentional living, and personal growth. Through sharing my own journey, experiences, and the wisdom of others, I aspire to inspire individuals to embark on their own paths of self-discovery, all while valuing and preserving their precious energy.
